Want more fans to pre-save your next release from Instagram, without sending the link to every one of them by hand? This template does it for each person who asks in your comments.

Someone comments PRESAVE on your next post and gets your pre-save link in a DM, plus one reminder 2 hours later. Copy the template.
Ask your fans to comment PRESAVE on your announcement post. Each one gets a public reply and a DM with one button, and a tap brings a card with your pre-save page. Whoever taps goes in the folder "Pre-save: clicked"; whoever has not tapped after 2 hours gets one reminder. Inrō sends it all through its comment to DM feature.

The flow reacts to top-level comments, not to replies under someone else's comment. It matches the keyword as a whole word, in capitals or not, so "presave" and "I want to presave" both count. PRESAVE and PRE-SAVE are two separate keywords, which is why the template carries both. "Pre save" with a space matches neither.
It watches one post: the first one you publish after the date in its trigger. A paid ad never counts as that post. The date is set when you copy the template, so check it before your announcement goes up (see below).
Inrō answers under the comment with one of three replies, picked at random: "Sent the link to your DMs", "Check your DMs for the link" or "Just sent it to your DMs 🙂". The reply goes up once the DM has gone out. Across the 798,041 conversations in Inrō's DM Benchmark, conversations with a public reply as well as a DM converted at 46%, against 29% for DM only.

The first DM is a button message: "Want to pre-save the new release? Tap below." with one button, "Send the link".
It asks for a tap because Instagram lets a business send one private message to a person who commented, and the conversation continues once that person responds (Meta for Developers, checked 23 October 2026). The tap is their response. One button keeps the choice simple: in the same benchmark, conversion with one button was 32%, against 2% with three. The opener is 44 characters, and first messages under 120 characters converted at 39%, against 22% for longer ones.
The button stays active for 6 hours. If nobody taps it, the flow ends there for that person and nothing else is sent.

After the tap, a link card arrives: a message with a title and a button, here "Pre-save the release" and "Pre-save the song". Your pre-save page goes behind the button.
Every fan who taps it is added to the folder "Pre-save: clicked". Inrō records the tap, not the pre-save. The pre-save happens on your pre-save page, so the folder lists who went there, not who finished.
A fan who has not tapped the card 2 hours later gets one message: "It's right above whenever you're ready." After that the flow ends. Nothing else is sent and no email address is asked for.
The 2 hours is only the wait before the reminder. The link keeps working after it, so a fan who comes back on release eve can still use it.

The trigger comes set up: comments that contain PRESAVE or PRE-SAVE, on your next post, top-level comments only, and each person gets the flow once.

Check six things before you go live:
From you. Inrō sends the address you paste into the card, so the page can come from your distributor or a smart-link tool you already use. Spotify says it notifies everyone who pre-saved on release day and adds the release to their library. Apple Music calls it a pre-add, which you set up through your label or distributor (checked 23 October 2026).
No. Inrō records the tap on "Pre-save the song", so the folder "Pre-save: clicked" shows who went to your pre-save page. The pre-save itself happens on that page.
Each person gets the flow once, so a second comment from the same person gets nothing.
No. It sends one link and asks for no email. To collect people before a release, use the waitlist template. For a link that is not a pre-save, see drive traffic to your link from comments.
