A priority folder is an Inrō scenario folder where only one matching scenario runs per trigger event: the one with the lowest priority number. While it is pending, no other scenario in the folder starts for that contact.
A priority folder is a scenario folder in Inrō where only one scenario runs for each trigger event. When several scenarios in the folder match the same comment or DM, the one with the lowest priority number runs and the others stay quiet. While that run is pending, no other scenario in the folder starts for that contact.
The one ranked highest, and priority 1 is the highest. Say two comment-to-DM automations on one post have overlapping keywords, so one comment matches both. Outside a priority folder, that person gets two DMs. Inside one, only the higher-ranked scenario sends its DM.
The pick happens for each new event, among the scenarios in the folder that match it. Once the winning run has finished, a lower-ranked scenario can still run on a later comment or DM from the same person.
You drag the scenarios inside the folder. The one at the top is priority 1, the next is priority 2. Put your most specific flow at the top, such as a VIP flow, and the general one below it.
A new folder is a priority folder unless you pick normal, and you can change the type later. A scenario sits in one folder at most. Older help centre articles call it a priority group. You can also set folders and their order through the Inrō API and the Inrō MCP server.
So a contact in the middle of one flow from the folder is not started on a second one from it. A scenario execution stays pending until it finishes, including while it waits on a delay or a reply.
While one scenario in a priority folder is pending for a contact, every other scenario in that folder is skipped for that contact. When the run ends, the folder is open again. The same scenario starting twice for one contact is a separate case, covered by duplicate protection.
A normal folder only groups scenarios so you can find them. Every matching scenario in a normal folder runs, and so does every matching scenario outside any folder.
So one event can start one scenario from each priority folder plus every match in normal folders or in no folder. If two automations answered the same comment, check that both sit in the same priority folder.
