What to change before you turn it on

The template comes set up: any story that mentions you, at most once a day per person, with no keyword and nothing to fill in.

Check three things before you go live:

1. The filter. "Any story that mentions you" runs on every mention. The trigger has two other filters. "Stories with visible keyword(s)" runs only on stories where one of your keywords, up to 5, can be read. "Stories showing something" runs only on stories whose picture matches a description you write, checked with AI, so AI has to be available on your account. Both filters read the story, so it has to still be up when Inrō checks it. "Any story" does not read it, so it runs every time: keep it for a thank-you.
2. The folder name. Rename "Thanks: mentioned us" if you want the list under another name.
3. How often it runs. In the scenario settings, "Limit frequency per contact" is on: once every 1 day per contact. Keep it so each person gets at most one heart a day, or change the interval.

Reward people who share you

The reward version is the same flow with one step more. After the heart, Inrō sends a DM: "Thanks for the mention! Here's 10% off your next order as a thank-you: WELCOME10". The person then goes into the folder "Ambassadors" instead of "Thanks: mentioned us".

The DM can go out because the mention is itself a message from the person in your inbox. The reward version runs once per person, ever, so a second mention never sends a second code.

Before you turn it on, replace WELCOME10 with your own code and change "10% off your next order" to match your real offer.

Best tips for your scenario

• Keep "Any story that mentions you" for a thank-you. Everyone who shares you gets the heart, whatever their story shows.
• Use a keyword filter for a campaign. If you ask people to post with a hashtag or a code word, switch the filter to "Stories with visible keyword(s)" and add it. The builder's own reminder applies: "Keyword must be clearly visible in the whole story."
• Put the folder to work. "Thanks: mentioned us" is a list of people who already talk about you. Pick it as the audience of a DM campaign when you launch something, or find them later with the contact filter "Mentioned you in a story".
• Reply by hand to the stories you love. The template only reacts, so write back yourself from the Inrō inbox or Instagram. Your reply does not stop the automation, so the heart still goes out.
• Keep the heart in the reward version. It comes before the code, so everyone who shares you gets the same thank-you as in the base template, with the code on top.

Does it send a DM?

No. The base template adds a heart to the mention and puts the person in a folder, with no message. The reward version adds one DM with a discount code.

Which story mentions reach me?

Mentions from public accounts, and from private accounts that follow you. Each one arrives in your inbox as a message that refers to the story.

What if someone tags me twice in a day?

They get one heart. The base template runs at most once a day per person, and the reward version once per person, ever.

Can it repost their story?
