For Instagram, Inrō sends the link straight into the DM instead of a bio page: someone comments, the link arrives as a button, and the conversation can carry on. If you want a link page instead (Inrō makes none), look at Milkshake, Carrd, Komi or Stan Store. Each price was read on the vendor's own page on 28 October 2026.

Choose Inrō if your bio link exists to hand over a link after a post: it sends that link in the Instagram DM and keeps the conversation going, free for up to 100 activated contacts a month; for a new link page, pick Milkshake or Carrd, and stay on Linktree if you post on several platforms.
How to choose: decide what your bio link is for. If it is a page of links, compare price and design; if it exists to hand over one link after a post, Inrō sends it in the DM and keeps the conversation going, where Linktree's own auto-reply sends one DM with one button, as its help center describes it (checked 28 October 2026).
Linktree is a link page first. Its Instagram auto-reply, which sends a DM with a button when someone comments, is on every plan, but the plan you pay for sets how many it sends. On 28 October 2026, Linktree's help center listed 1,000 auto-reply DMs a month on Free, 1,500 on Starter, 2,500 on Pro and unlimited only on Premium. Linktree's pricing page the same day showed Pro at $17 a month ($14 billed annually) and Premium at $35 a month ($30 billed annually).

Some reviewers on Trustpilot also mention price increases and charges they did not expect (reviews read 28 October 2026).
Inrō comes first because it does the job of getting a link to the people who asked for it, inside the Instagram DM: the link arrives as a trackable button, and the conversation can go on from there. It does not make a link page; the other four tools do.
Inrō's free plan is counted in activated contacts; compare Inrō's Free and Pro plans. For a side by side with Inrō, read Inrō vs Linktree or Inrō vs Stan. Every tool's prices, with the date they were checked, are in the next section.
How we picked them: each tool replaces one job a Linktree page does, and every price and plan detail comes from the tool's own pricing or help pages, read on 28 October 2026. Tools whose pages we could not read were left out.

Send the link in the DM, not the bio
When someone comments your keyword, Inrō sends the link as a button in their DM and keeps the conversation going. Start on the free plan with up to 100 activated contacts a month.
Free plan, no card
Linktree is still the right tool for some accounts. Stay if:
Not sure whether your bio link or a DM should do the work? Map it out with the link-in-bio DM funnel planner first.
For another link page, rebuild your links and products on the new tool, check every button, then change the link in your Instagram bio.
For Inrō, you can keep your Linktree page in your bio. What you must not do is run two auto-DM tools at the same time on one Instagram account. Switch Linktree's Instagram auto-reply off on your posts first, then turn on Inrō's comment-to-DM. Set up the keyword and the DM in Inrō, or start from the comment-for-link template and change the words.
Yes. Inrō's free plan sends your link in the Instagram DM for up to 100 activated contacts a month, with no card. For a free link page, Milkshake, Carrd (up to three sites) and Komi's Starter plan all make one. Linktree's own Free plan also includes Instagram auto-reply, up to 1,000 DMs a month according to its help center on 28 October 2026.
Inrō, if you ask people to comment for a link: it sends the link in the DM and keeps the conversation going, and comment-to-DM flows built in Inrō have an 18.6% click rate, according to Inrō's production data. If you sell, its AI agent also answers product questions before the sale. For a page of links only, Milkshake or Carrd cost less than Linktree Starter, and Stan Store adds a storefront with Stan AutoDM (checked 28 October 2026).
Carrd, Komi and Milkshake all connect your own domain on a paid plan. On 28 October 2026, Carrd's Pro page listed the custom domain from Pro Standard at $19 a year, Komi's pricing page listed it on Pro at $20 a month ($16 billed annually), and Milkshake's site listed it on Pro+ at US$99.99 a year.
Of the tools on this page, Carrd costs least if you pay yearly: its free plan covers up to three sites, and Pro Lite cost $9 a year on Carrd's Pro page on 28 October 2026. If you pay monthly, Milkshake Lite cost US$2.99 a month on Milkshake's site the same day, against $9 a month for Linktree Starter on Linktree's pricing page.
You can keep your Linktree page in your Instagram bio. Do not run Linktree's auto-reply and Inrō's comment-to-DM on the same account at the same time: switch Linktree's auto-reply off first, then turn Inrō on.
