An AI agent knowledge base is the content an AI agent answers from. In Inrō it holds your text, documents and web pages, and the agent answers each DM from the passages that match it.
An AI agent knowledge base is the content your agent answers from: your web pages, documents and notes about products, prices and policies. In Inrō you build it in the Training and knowledge card on the AI Agent page, and the agent searches it for the passages that match each DM before it replies.
Click Import new item and choose one of three types:
In the app, a Website item imports that one page, so add one item per page. An item shows Processing, then Ready, or Failed when Inrō finds no text to read, such as a scanned PDF that is only an image. You can also add items from the Inrō API or from Claude or ChatGPT through the Inrō MCP server.
When a contact writes, the agent looks through your knowledge for the passages that match the conversation and answers from those. If the conversation started from a comment or a story reply, the agent also sees that post or story.
That depends on the Knowledge access and behaviour card. With Always have an answer, the agent can also draw on its language model's general knowledge. With Limit to instructions, it replies only when it finds the answer in your instructions and knowledge. What it does instead is the AI agent fallback.
Inrō reads a page or a file when you import it and does not go back to it later. When your prices change, delete the item and import it again. Then test the question in Chat with Agent.
